A Style of Thankfulness
There's a moment, right before you launch something you've poured your heart into, when you realize it was never really a solo project at all.
That's exactly where I am today.
Journeys are made through chapters.
My chapters are made through every person in my life.
This website - the one you're looking at right now - didn't happen because I sat down at a laptop and figured it out myself. It happened because a small group of unbelievably talented people decided to care about my vision as much as I did. And before I share another word of content here, I wanted to stop and say thank you. Properly. Publicly. From the heart.
To the team at Sandpiper - thank you for taking what lived in my head as a feeling, a color palette, a vibe I couldn't always find the words for, and turning it into something real. You didn't just build a website. You listened. You asked the right questions. You translated "style has no expiration date" into every detail, every layout choice, every soft edge of this site.
Ashley Stidfole, Victoria Ortiz - I want to thank each of you individually, because you deserve that.
Web design is invisible work when it's done well - you don't notice the scaffolding, you just feel like you're home. That's what you gave me.
Dreams
They are only possible through the support of your community
And to Josh Norris — where do I even begin?
You didn't just show up with a camera. You showed up with your whole heart. Your passion for this work, your creative eye, the way you saw me before I fully saw myself in these images — that's not something you can teach or fake. That's a gift, and you shared it generously.
Every shoot with you has felt less like a photo session and more like a collaboration between two people who both believed something good was being built. Your teamwork, your vision, your willingness to chase the light and the moment and the feeling — it's all over this website, and it will be all over what's still to come.
Because here's a little secret: what you've seen so far is only a fraction of what's in the vault.
Style is YOU
Whatever your style is, there are those who can and will help you uncover it.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible instructors at Style Academy International and the thorough, comprehensive curriculum they built. My professor, Louisa, was always there — ready to explain a concept one more time, cheer me on, or gently talk me off the ledge when a moment felt genuinely impossible. Her belief in me shaped not just my certification, but the confidence I bring to every client I work with today.
Learning is a style that never fades
And before I say anything else - to my husband, Dean.
You are the reason any of this exists at all.
You were there for every moment of doubt, every "am I really doing this," every late night of second-guessing myself into circles. And every single time, you were the steady one. The one who didn't need me to have it all figured out before you believed in it. You just kept saying go for it — not because you knew exactly how it would turn out, but because you knew me, and you trusted that.
You've held me on the hard days without ever making me feel like I needed to explain why they were hard. And you've cheered louder than anyone on the good ones, even the small wins that only you seemed to notice mattered to me.
This website, this business, this whole leap - none of it happens without you standing behind me, beside me, and sometimes in front of me, clearing the way. You are my advice, my counsel, my green light, and my home base all at once.
Dean, thank you for being my person. This is as much yours as it is mine.
Love is the style that defines this life.
What's Coming
Josh and I have been quietly building a library of images and content that I can't wait to start sharing — the kind of content that doesn't just show you what personal styling looks like, but makes you feel it. Behind-the-scenes moments. Untold stories. Visuals I've been saving for exactly the right time.
So consider this your invitation to stay close. This is just the beginning, and I promise — you won't want to miss what's next.
